Reeling from his captain’s confession of being the one to block his return, Buck almost calls the lawyer who’d offered him his card. Instead, he takes a breath and turns to the union, giving the LAFD one last chance to stand by him. The resulting transfer ends up being the best choice he could have made for himself.
