Honestly, I haven't written much more than business letters and meeting minutes in about a decade. Dusting off the creative writing skills is difficult. Last time I finished a story over about 3000 words was longer ago than I am comfortable disclosing. I may not finish the *story* by the end of the challenge, but if I manage the *word count* I will have succeeded in my own mind. Looking forward to it!
