This is an experiment. The HALO verse has an horrific history. I will be careful and won't include the worst of it and this is most certainly AU of both fandoms. But please be aware that the powers that be made a habit of stealing children at a very young age and turning them into Spartans through bio modification -- some saw combat in adult bodies as early as twelve years old in Halo canon. I asked myself how far they would go when it came to acquiring assets for the Spartan Program.

Colonel John Sheppard, UNSC Spartan Command, suffers a slipstream accident and discovers the truth of his origins in the past. He can't return to the time and place he knows, and isn't sure if the past has room for who and what he is.

Fortunately, or not depending on the point of view, Dr. Rodney McKay is very interested in helping John make a home on Atlantis.

In my spare time, I write fan fiction and plot against everything on Discord. It's not the usual kind of hobby for a "domestic engineer" in her 50's but we live in a modern world and I like fucking with people's expectations.
