Shane had a rare day away from the rink, his parents, and everyone. That was until someone knocked on his apartment door. Not seeing anyone through the peephole, he went to ignore it. A second time, he finally opened the door. On the welcome mat was a Moses basket, a tiny newborn sleeping peacefully inside. Beside it were two bags and a pinned note.
