Not sure how to warn for this explicitly, so I thought I'd put it here. In the beginning we see a very low-key, almost implied, gentle suicide in the face of certain violent death. It's not as bad as it sounds, just sad. But your mental health is important, so I'm not taking any chances.

Evan Buckley has a mystery on his hands. Dead deer are popping up everywhere. From gunshots, not CWS. Wildfires are breaking out all over North Cali. At least Christopher's surgery goes as planned. But why is Buck constantly hearing a baby crying? Meanwhile, Bobby is determined to get Buck to accept a career move and can't figure out why he's never in town.
